How do I manage and delete iPhone data using my MacBook?

I have just succesfully transferred all the information from my old iPhone to my new one, along with it a lot of stuff I no longer need. Unfortunately my hands tremble. Is it possible to have the iPhone on my Mac to e able me to remove any items that I no longer require using the mouse for any manipulations. Thanks

If you are synchronizing things like photos, contacts, notes, and reminders through iCloud, then deleting an item on any device will be taken as a request to delete it on all devices, and in iCloud.

So, for instance, if you are using iCloud Photos both on your iPhone and on your Mac, you could cull photos and get rid of unwanted ones on your MacBook, and the changes would be synchronized to the iPhone.
