Dear Apple Discussion,
I purchased a brand new Apple Pencil Pro last Wednesday from the original Apple store, but I’ve noticed that it drains very quickly. Compared to other Apple Pencils (like my friend's 2nd gen model), mine seems to lose power much faster even with short usage.
Could you please advise if this is normal, or if there may be an issue with the battery?

Have you enable the Pencil Find My feature? If yes, your Pencil will deplete its already tiny battery much more quickly than when this feature is not enabled.
Add your iPad to Find My - Apple Support
It is generally recommended that you keep your Apple Pencil Pro docked with your iPad whenever it is not being actively used. Doing so will ensure that the Pencil battery is always optimally charged - and, importantly, is protected from unintentional deep discharge.
