If your iPhone 11 won't turn on but your Apple Watch is still receiving texts, it indicates that your Apple Watch is functioning independently, possibly using its own cellular connection or relying on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to connect to your iPhone.
This situation can occur if your iPhone is powered off, experiencing a hardware failure, or has a depleted battery.
Troubleshooting Steps:
Force Restart Your iPhone:
Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
Quickly press and release the Volume Down button.
Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears.
Charge Your iPhone:
Connect your iPhone to a charger and let it charge for at least 30 minutes.
After charging, attempt to turn it on again by pressing and holding the Side button.
Check for Physical Damage:
Inspect your iPhone for any signs of physical damage, such as a cracked screen or water exposure, which might prevent it from turning on.
If the above steps don't resolve the issue, consider visiting an Apple Store or contacting Apple Support for further diagnosis and assistance.
Please note that while your Apple Watch can receive messages independently, certain features, such as SMS/MMS messaging, may require your iPhone to be powered on and connected. Additionally, if your iPhone remains off for an extended period, some functionalities on your Apple Watch may be limited.
