Can’t purchase AppleCare+ on new Beats Studio pro??

Hi, I just purchased new Beats Studio Pros today from Target. I went through the steps to try and get AppleCare+, it wanted me to update the date of purchase so I tried to do that. I uploaded a receipt of my purchase and spoke to someone over the phone and they were unable to help me as well.. I’m not at all sure what to do now.. I’ve tried to use the serial number but claims it’s ineligible to get AppleCare+ on them… seriously so confused and would love to get full coverage on my new headphones.. any help is appreciated!

There would be a warranty card in the box ... it may have details

When buying Beats from Apple: This webpage shows up AppleCare+ for Headphones - Beats - Apple

Eg: says:

How to get AppleCare+

Add it to your bag during the checkout process when you purchase your new headphones.

Or

buy it within 60 days of your headphones purchase:

  • On your paired iPad or iPhone (go to Settings > Bluetooth > click on the ⓘ button for your headphones)
  • Online
  • At an Apple Store (if AppleCare+ is purchased separately from headphones, inspection of headphones and proof of purchase are required.)
  • By calling (800) 275-2273 (requires you to provide proof of purchase)
