I wasn’t charged for purchasing Minecraft but my card info is perfectly fine as I used it before to purchase in app purchases and in a different device, what happened?

Are you sure you’ve purchased Minecraft, and not just downloaded it again? This might sound stupid, but it could be the case that you’ve already purchased it previously, e.g. on your iPad, and just downloaded it on your phone. If that’s not applicable, you should probably contact Support to see if there’s an issue present, as Raicya suggested already. Linked here: Contact - Official Apple Support

Hey actually now that I think about it I didn't see how much it costs on the double click to confirm area but it still had the price at the area where you overview the app, may just be a visual bug, thanks for telling me!
