How do I prevent screen dimming during bright flashes on iPhone 15 Pro Max?

Glitch Productions released the pilot to their new show but whenever someone fires a gun close to the camera the screen on my phone goes dim I’m using an iPhone 15 pro max and would like to stop this (this isn’t the only time it happens but it’s the most recent time this has happened)

Hello!

Go to: Settings > Accessibility > Motion. Now, turn off “Dim Flashing Lights”.

Have a great day!

Are you sure that works for a single gun flash? It appears to be for reducing stoning (multiple repeating flashes). Strobing is linked to epileptic seizures. I’m not sure that’ll work for a single flash.

No, I’m not. But I believe there’s more than one gun shot. No one has such good aim that they can fire off a single round and always hit their target. (Well, almost no one.) Besides, it would make for a boring movie. 😅

Maybe the OP can let us know if the setting was off or not, and we can go from there.
