I collected card from outside wild life camera plenty of videos on but only a few am I able to open Never happened before and strange that some open but the majority do not Any help out there for me to open the videos

SD cards are S-L-O-W.
Playing live Video requires a drive that is VERY responsive.
Before you condemn your computer, try using Finder to copy video files off the SD drive to your Boot drive, and play from the boot drive.
