Several phone numbers in my contacts have disappeared. The contacts names are still there but the phone number is just gone. I went to the Apple Store. They said they hadn’t heard of this before and did a factory reset on my phone. It was fine for about three days and now it’s happening again. Is anybody else experiencing this?

If you go to Settings>Apple Account>iCloud, then look at Saved to iCloud tap on See all, is Contacts turned on? Then if you go to Settings>Apps>Mail>Mail Accounts. Tap on the individual accounts (other than iCloud) and see if Contacts are turned on for any of them.
How are you managing your phone numbers? Are you using iCloud? Are you using another email account? Check to ensure that all you are using are signed in a checked. Does anyone else have access to those accounts that could be accidentally deleting numbers? I've never seen names remain but numbers disappear.
I just use apple contacts that comes with the phone. I do backup to iCloud and the crazy thing is that when they did the factory reset and restored from iCloud a week back (before I had noticed this was happening) they were still missing even after the reload. And yes, they checked my email account too. No one else has access to my phone or my account. It makes no sense. I figured surely I wasn’t the only one having this happen. Thank you for your suggestions.
