How can I completely remove AirPods from my device list?

A few months ago, I connected AirPods pro headphones, but now after pressing the delete from account or "Forget device" button, they surprisingly remain in the device list. These headphones are displayed on all devices, in the iCloud personal account too. Maybe someone had a similar situation.

Here are directions for removing those from your account. You must do more than just Forget Device. You must also remove them From your account.

Remove AirPods from your Apple Account on iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Find My app.
  2. Select the Devices tab, tap your AirPods, then swipe up.
  3. Tap Remove This Device, then tap Remove to confirm.
