Why does Apple TV not working on my laptop?

Do you have an anti-virus or VPN installed on the Macs?

Try disabling them and testing again.

Does it work if you start the Macs in Safe Mode, or use a different user profile?

Try quitting the App, and restarting the Mac.

What happens when you try to use it on your Laptop?

Does it not open the app?

Does it open but issue an error? If so, what does it say?

Does it simply not play anything?

Is it asking you to subsscribe?

Is this a Mac or a PC?

Are you using the TV app or the Apple TV website on a browser?

If using the website, what browser are you using?

Are you logged in with the same Apple account as on the iPhone

Provide some details and context, and someone may be able to advise.

I have done all the things… checked for updates, restarted computer, refreshed app…

The issue is with Apple TV app on certain devices apparently. I’ve seen other people within the community posting the same issue.

For me, Apple Tzv works on my iPad.
