Is it normal to receive Apple Pencil Pro in a regular box with tampered labels?

I just received my Apple Pencil Pro that I ordered online with engraving. It arrived in an ordinary plain box/packaging with the label sticker (serial and barcode) being covered to another and different label on the box. I realized the pencil pro has a special designs on the box as advertised. Is it normal to get the pencil in a regular box? I was just a little disappointed 😔 since it’s my first ever ipad and pencil pro. I just wish Apple has statements to manage expectations since the Apple Pencil Pro has a premium box and I just don’t get why my box has tampered labels with the barcode and serial. It’s like recycled box. I know it has engraving and was paired right away. Thank you.

Hello!

This is a user to user support forum. We don’t really know Apple’s policy on this. I mean some people may, and if they do, hopefully they will chime in.

In the meantime, maybe you could try calling the store you got the devices from, ask to speak to the manager, and explain your issue to him/her?

Have a great day!
