How to log out of a deleted Apple Account on an old iPhone when Find My cannot find the person?

I have an old iphone that is logged in to a deleted apple id account and u wish to log out but when trying to turn off find my iphone it says cannot find this person. What should i do?

If the ID that was signed in on the device was deleted from Apple's systems and no longer exists, your only option will be to provide Apple with the original proof of purchase from an authorized retailer or directly from Apple.


If you can't do that, the phone is now useless. There is no way to remove the activation lock without that documentation.
