Can I move widgets without affecting other icons on my iPhone XR?

i know how to move on widgets on my iPhone XR, but what I need to know is how do I move a widget from the END of a row WITHOUT the widget from the start of the row below it moving up and that position? Please?!? I am about to throw my phone! Lol does ANYONE understand what hat I’m asking ?

Not possible directly.


Apps and widgets will follow the default flow and take up any left over space from another app or widget on a Home Screen until, you have specifically moved the app or widget to a defined spot on the Home Screen.


You need to go through all your icons and widgets and position them somewhere manually before they will keep that position. Any apps you have not manually positioned will keep following the default layout until you do.
