Playback Issues and Minor Lag on iPhone 14 Pro Max

Hello,

I’ve been experiencing a few issues with my iPhone 14 Pro Max lately:


  1. Music and video playback randomly stops or freezes. For example, music will suddenly pause, and I have to skip to the next track or restart the app. YouTube videos also occasionally freeze for a few seconds.
  2. The phone has also started to lag slightly in general use — nothing critical, but I’ve noticed some small delays when switching between apps or navigating the interface.
  3. I’ve already tried restarting the device, updating iOS, reinstalling the affected apps, and resetting settings — but the problem persists.


Could you please help me understand what might be causing this and what you recommend I do next?

Are you using cellular? Or are you using WiFi?


Troubleshooting Lagging Streaming on an iPhone:

Here are some things to consider...


A. Disable a VPN:

Are you using a VPN? If so, disable it.


B. Clear Space:

System resources may be swollen up. So, clear space. See my two User Tips:


C. Clear the Temporary Internet Files:


D. Force Close All Apps:

An app may not be responding. So, close all apps. Hold you finger down on the Bottom-left cornet. As you swipe to the top-left corner, the apps will pop up. Then, close all of these open apps, by sweeping up quickly for all apps.
