Sequoia 15.3.2 the compressed memory on my computer is very high, and the computer regularly tells me that my application memory is too high. What should I do?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.3
1) Chrome is using a lot of RAM, CPU and Energy.
Uninstall Chrome and use either Safari or FireFox.
2) CleanMyMac is known to cause problem.
Uninstall it as per the developers instructions.
In addition, the OP may also just have too many apps open at the same time ... on an MBAir with only 16GB RAM. There's also the 39GB swap in use ... and imho the memory pressure graph is pretty high, indications of too much running at once.
Chrome, Zoom, Slack, Canva, Perplexity AI .. all rather resource intensive.

Is there anything listed under Clean up?
