Readers previously reported that there were replacement glass bezel pieces available on eBay for certain models of glass screen-surround that broke. Some were black-painted metal rather than glass.
This is a complex repair, and you must be quite "handy" else all that will result is a non-working Mac.
Another alternative is to send your Mac to an aftermarket repair facility such as Powerbook Medic, which has been in business so long the computers they are named for are obsolete.
If that Mac still meets your needs, Readers have suggested that a strip of black electrical tape will calm the broken area and allow you to continue to use the computer. Then plan on "driving it till the wheels fall off."
Cut a piece of black electrical tape over the broken section of the Bezel. Make sure to extend it at least 1/2 inch beyond the last part of the crack (1" may be safer).
I have personally replaced Bezels on many of my organization's 2016+ Macs and can confirm it is a risky process even for an experienced tech with lots of practice for this particular repair. In fact none of our other techs even attempt to replace these Bezels. There are multiple fragile easily damaged display cables located beneath the entire length of the Bezel. This is why putting even light pressure on the Bezel will cause it to crack. It is mostly hollow beneath the Bezel since those display cables don't provide any real support for the Bezel.

It is worth a call to Apple to discuss, but I am guessing the answer will be NO, unless you have extended 'Apple Care' on this machine.
FWIW, I would not spend any money on a 5 year old computer that will soon be no longer supported.
2019 Macs are already on the "vintage" list so it won't be long before the 2020 models are as well.

Crack in Screen After Cleaning Mac:
You weren't push hard. So, what does this sound like? Did you see any sparks or other types of abnormal occurrences when this occurred? Almost seems to be a mechanical failure.
