My 93 year old mother has an M2 MacBook Air.
She's reaching the point where she needs help with controlling it, which I would like to be able do remotely.
She has no Apple ID - with that in mind, what is the easiest way to set up remote control of her MacBook, without buying any special software?
Or, would an Apple ID work better / easier?

An Apple ID would work much better, then you can screen share via facetime
I asked ChatGTP and got an immediate, simple and clear reply, complete with a PDF of the instructions.
Tested, works, problem solved.
(This was the second time I asked a very similar question regarding remote screen sharing, and the only non-technical and straightforward answer I got was from ChatGTP.)
Would that involve a FaceTime voice call, or does FaceTime facilitate the mute control of the remote Mac?
