What can I do if my new iPhone 15 is locked to owner after incorrect passcode attempts?

I am reaching out to seek assistance regarding my newly purchased iPhone 15, which has been locked due to multiple incorrect passcode attempts. Unfortunately, a child unintentionally entered the wrong passcode several times, resulting in the device becoming disabled. As a result, I am now unable to access the device.

I have attempted to resolve the issue using the standard recovery methods, including attempting to erase the device through iCloud’s Find My iPhone and entering Recovery Mode through a computer connection. Unfortunately, the device is now displaying an Iphone Locked To Owner, requesting the Apple ID and password.

Since the device is new and I am the legitimate owner, I can provide the original purchase receipt, proof of payment, and any other required documentation to verify ownership. Despite contacting Apple Support, I have not received any viable solution to regain access to my device.

if the iPhone is locked to owner, you can unlock it with your apple accounts credentials. If this is not working, and you can provide valid proof of purchase information  you can start an Activation Lock support request.
