Apple Watch Ultra 2 Demo Unit: Please Apple Help me

Dear Apple Support Team,

My name is Khatambekov , and I’m writing to you from Uzbekistan. I’ve been a loyal Apple fan and user since the iPhone 7, and over the years I’ve collected almost all Apple accessories and products — I genuinely love the ecosystem you’ve built.

Recently, I purchased a second-hand Apple Watch Ultra 2 from the local used market. Unfortunately, after trying to use it, I discovered that it is a demo unit. I cannot connect it to my iPhone, activate key features, or use it for any real functionality. None of the sensors or apps work as expected — it’s stuck in demonstration mode.

I didn’t know it was a demo unit at the time of purchase. This has been very disappointing and frustrating, especially as a long-time supporter of Apple. I don’t know what to do now, and I’m reaching out to you in hopes that Apple can help me. I am even willing to send the watch back to Apple by mail if there’s any way to reset it or exchange it for a functioning unit.

Please understand that I was misled, and I’m just looking for a solution. I hope Apple can support loyal users like me in such situations.

Thank you very much for your time and attention.

Sincerely,

Khatambekov

Uzbekistan

I ran into same issue buying mine from offer up. Getting it out of demo mode was fairly easy. Well, I say fairly easy. I had to look up and try several times until it just worked using the “three finger tap method to het past demo mode and even then took some finagling to reset it. That wasnt the obstacle in the end. I have was able to temporarily pair it however it would not activate. It came upbwith error screen saying “this Device cannot be activated” It unpaired after that message. Apple looked up watch telling me they have no record of sale for watch. I foolishly paid 250.00 for mine and was so happy at time I didnt bother to ask seller to test it. He said he had to go and I didn’t want to lose the deal. Had box and everything seemed legit.!(although I found out later the charging cable was counterfeit and didn’t even work)

They told me there’s nothing they can do. Pretty ***** considering they admitted it was their product and they could’ve made it work for me and made lots of money with future abs and services bought through the watch so not very smart on their part.

I haven’t had time to go through it, but one person you can reach out to you and ask is some guy called and you can find him at: “icloudking.com” He has videos on how to make it work he claims. I dont have time yet to do it but claims his videos will walk you through and he doesnt charge. Something shady though because while he’s saying that he has another page where I think you sent him the watch and $120 and he does it. I would just advise you better pay the 3.00 or whatever it cost to insure as well as getting signature upon delivery in case you don’t get your watch back.

I wouldn’t call Apple as they might be the one to make that error come up shutting me out since I called them to look up number.

Let me know what you find it would still benefit me. 👍
