Possibly this relates to the switching of content types with regard to frame rate and/or dynamic range. Then many TVs need a few moments to adjust the signal. Could that be it?
If that is what is happening, then there are two solutions to this:
- Get a TV that supports QMS (Quick Media Switching) and a streaming box that supports this as well (Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) (2022)),
- or: Set your Apple TV box to a fixed frame rate and fixed dynamic range (Match Content: Off), so that the ads don’t disturb the video signal in this way.
