NO SUPPORT for iPhones and whatsapp on 5S, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus has ended - WHAT NOW ?

Woke up 5th May 2025 and opened Whatsapp messenger, to see a screen pop up telling me "Whatsapp is no longer support" !?

I have important leads, documents, images, contact and legal case that i need to get the transcript and voice notes from my whatsapp to pursue.

I cannot even open whatsapp settings to export the chats.

I have literally tried everything on my icloud account. My whatsapp was marked for backups, and it has assured me that my phone has been backed up but i cannot access whatsapp in the cloud.

When i "change" my whatsapp to a newer iphone, download and go through the processes and open whatsapp, everything is reset, no history of chats.

Iv tried several third party apps/software.

What is everyone doing ?

What are we supposed to do !

URGENT. Please help

You will need to contact WhatsApp for help with their software, this is not an Apple product.

what next? I guess in a year or so they will drop support from iOS 15 and below.

The answer is back up your WhatsApp to iCloud in WhatsApp's app settings,buy an iPhone 8 or newer and install the latest iOS.

Set up through Quick Start and everything should still be there, if not delete WhatsApp app and reinstall and use the backup.

and you should be complaining to Meta not Apple.
