someone registered same icloud account and their email sent to my inbox

Hi everyone,




I’ve had an email address with the @me.com domain since before Apple launched @icloud.com. At the time, I recall Apple mentioning that both @me.com and @icloud.com would be merged and could be used interchangeably.


However, I was recently surprised to see that someone else has registered the same username under the @icloud.com domain, and their emails are being delivered to my @me.com inbox.


This has made me quite anxious—if I can receive their emails, could they potentially receive mine as well? I would really appreciate any clarification or advice on this.

Those are your emails, or more likely spam emails sent to that email account, which is yours. Your @me email address is an alias email. You should be able to see all email aliases when you sign into your account as seen here:
