How can I remove background from Photos on my iPhone 16 Pro Max?

If there's only one object or person in the image, you can press and hold on the object or person until it separates from the image slightly and flashes slightly.

Then tap on the share option from the ribbon that appears, and then on Save Image.

It will save the separated section as a new image without the background.

There is no built-in tool to remove the background around an object in a photo. But you can do this indirectly.

• You can tap the object in the photo, that you want to isolate.
• Hold down on the object, then select to save it as a sticker.
• You can insert this sticker into a different photo using the mark-up extension on the other photo. Use Markup to add text, shapes, stickers, and more to documents on iPhone - Apple Support (BW)
• Or share the sticker in a message or mail, or add it to a note.
