I was watching prime video, then suddenly it stops playing and say my device (which is an Apple TV) is not HDCP compliant so no videos will stream.
Amazon told me it’s an Apple TV problem. Netflix plays fine, just not prime video.
I have updated the app and the Apple software, but I am still getting the error.
how can I get this to work?

Amazon had me uninstall and reinstall the app, they had me do a reset of the Apple TV and install the app again. Nothing worked so I turned off the tv (not the Apple TV but the actual tv) and turned it back on and it worked.
so simple but i didn’t think about the tv itself being the issue.

Try restarting your Apple TV and checking your HDMI cable connections. Sometimes resetting the HDMI connection can resolve HDCP errors.
The app seems to work uninterrupted for me?
