How do I restore deleted contacts on my iMac Contacts app?

I stupidly deleted the Contacts app from my iMac! The addressbook is still on my iPad and iPhone. To restore the Contacts app to my iMac I reinstalled Sequoia OS. I have then tried to restore my contacts using Time Machine (which did not work), using recover data on iCloud.com (which did not work), and exporting the contacts from my iPad and then trying to import the .vcf file (which showed the alert "no importable cards were found"). The contacts do exist in iCloud, on my iPad and my iPhone, but nothing I have tried so far has moved them back to my Contacts app on my iMac. Help!

iMac 27″, macOS 15.5

Have you enabled the iCloud account in Contacts > Settings > Accounts . Enable the iCloud acct.

Also, try signing out of iCloud and sign back in.

I assume all devices are on same network.
