Did my iPhone 14 Pro Max update reset my Portuguese language settings, and how can I fix it?

I updated my iPhone 14x and after that when I try to type on any app in Portuguese it doesn’t- even tho Portuguese is selected as my second language. Before the update I could write in Portuguese and would be a smooth process even including my language written accents- now it’s a huge struggle because it does not recognize any Portuguese words. Constant correction needed. Did the software “forget” my previous usage of the language? I think so. Any suggestions?

What do you have on the list at settings > general > keyboard > keyboards?

If you used to have separate monolingual keyboards and you now have a bilingual one, you might want to try going back to the monolingual situation.

Have you tried to restart the iPhone to see if the issues persist? Also, have you updated to the most recent version (18.5)
