I phone 16 pro max. . just replaced my phone and have turned something off as the visual look up no longer gives me the little star icon to identify plants etcy

To show the results of visual search, Photos has to scan your entire Photos Library. It doesn't do the lookup when you hit the Info button-- scanning is done and properties are listed in the database for the whole thing. So it may take a couple of days for the results to show up. Scanning is done when the phone is on, locked, and plugged in.

Check Settings>Search>Show Related Content-- it should be on.
I think you have not understood my problem. I will try to explain better. when I take a photo of a unknown flower there is a icon at the bottom with a information icon if the icon has a twinkle star next to it then you can get information such as what flower it is or breed of dog etc . but since changing to the pro max I no longer get this extra info. I think I may need to turn something back on?

I think that's the way I understood it.
Unless you mean that you do see visual lookup on pictures that you have already taken, just not immediately while taking a picture. Is that it?
take a picture then go to the icon and see the info available . but the icon I get is a letter I . not showing the I with a twinkle
tried search for show related content. no results . any other ideas please
