How can I prevent my MacBook Pro from automatically creating shortcuts?

I do I turn this setting off, where everything is highlighted I’ve tried everything. Please help. Thanks

You have Voice Control active. Click the blue Voice control menu icon at the top, click on Voice Control Settings and turn off the option.


Alternatively, if you want to keep Voice Control on but not see all the voice labels, go into the same Voice Control Settings, and in the Overlay dropdown select None, instead of Item Names.
