Why do my sent messages show up as new messages on my iPhone?
When I send a message, it shows up in my messages as a new message when I sent it?

If you are automatically sending a copy of sent messages to yourself, you can change the settings:
in Settings > Apps > Mail scroll down to Compose : Turn off "Always BCC myself"
