Accidentally inserted iPhone 14 SIM tray into iPhone 16 Pro. Should I worry?
Hi everyone,
I just unboxed my new iPhone 16 Pro and while setting it up, I accidentally inserted the SIM tray from my old iPhone 14 into it. There was no SIM card in the tray just the empty tray itself.
The trays looked really similar, and I didn’t realize it was the wrong one until after I had already inserted it. It went in without much resistance, and I took it out again soon after.
Now I’m a bit nervous. Could this have caused any internal damage, even though there was no SIM card inside? Everything seems to be working fine, but I just want to make sure I didn’t mess anything up.
