When's my iPhone 12 Pro Max gonna end support for major iOS updates?

Why I'm asking is because I have no way of asking about this anywhere else in my country, nobody knows about Apple iPhones. I'm planning to get a new iPhone, due to my iPhone is tapping by itself due to a cracked screen, as well as when I turn the volume up during games it lags. Any help and answers to my question will be well appreciated. I only really know about that Apple supports their devices for 7 years.

Apple supports their iPhones with iOS software updates for a minimum of 5 years after supply date, but that is only a minimum and they are known to support longer. No one here can say for sure how long your iPhone 12 Pro Max will be supported for. But your statement that Apple caps it at 7 years isn’t correct, the furthest we’ve seen is 7 but it can surely change.

Apple always seems to change this stuff, but yeah, I agree with this statement. This might also determine too as you said. The iPhone 12 Pro Max on Versus is a point better than the iPhone 13. So it may change.
