So I’ve already reached out to Apple support about this and they didn’t give me a fix. I’ve tried deleting the app, offloading it, and going in and deleting all of my pins and saved places in maps and nothing worked. Imo there’s no reason for maps to be 25GB but maybe I’m wrong. If anyone knows how to fix this without factory resetting my phone please let me know. Thanks

Go to Settings/Apps/Maps and turn on Optimize Storage or do the same in the Maps app, tap on your icon, then Offline Maps.

Ridding of "System Data" (Formerly Called "Other"):
A bit of a tip. Clear you System Data, and you's clear maybe one-tenth of this space on you bar graph.
