Unable to find the option to share custom email domain on iCloud with family

When I first setup my custom email domain, I didn’t select that it was for sharing with my iCloud family. And now I can’t find a way to change that. I want to share the email domains so my family members can also see and send for those email addresses.

I don’t see option to “add people” that this support article talks about: Add or remove people sharing a custom email domain on iCloud.com - Apple Support

I also tried what worked in this thread, and it didn’t work for me: Sharing custom domain with family members - Apple Community

Any insights?

Ok. Support helped me figure out that I created the custom email domain for myself only years ago, and that if I wanted to share it with my iCloud family, then I need to remove it and then add it again. They said I should have no issues creating the same email accounts again. Fingers crossed that I can actually create the same email accounts again—many times Apple cloud services are just unpredictable.

-------

Adding "People" to a Custom eMail Domain:

As your Provided Link Notes:

"Note: You can add someone who is not part of your Family Sharing group if they subscribe to iCloud+. When they accept the invitation, they are added to the domain."

So, do they have an Apple iCloud+ subscription? If not, they wouldn't get a direct invitation to use it.
