How do I hide my text messages on iPhone?

There’s no way to actually hide text messages. The best you can do is long-hold the Messages app, then tap “Require Face ID” in the resulting pop-up. This will ensure no one enters the app except you.

Then there’s the old fashioned method of deleting the messages you don’t want anyone to see, but then you have to make sure to delete them from Recently Deleted as well.
