The latest macOS Sequoia update failed and crashed the MacBook Pro

The latest MacOS update failed, causing the M2 Pro machine to crash. I am attempting to reinstall macOS Sequoia to the “Macintosh HD” drive, which is taking 1 and a half hours. Anyone else experiencing this issue? How did you resolve this? Anyone not have this issue?
