Weather app won’t show results when searching for new places on iPhone
When I search for a place to add in weathers app, it shows no results

Did you already try to force restart your iPhone?

You will not lose data by force restarting the iPhone. This might help to clear software glitches and restart some services.
Location Services are still enabled for the Weather app in Settings/Apps/Weather ->Allow Weather to Access?
Does the Apple Weather App show your Hometown?
Did you try to use the Cellular Network instead of Wi-Fi and disable the Power saving mode for your iPhone?
