Why do old AirPods appear in Bluetooth list on new iPhone?
I bought a new phone and in the list of devices under Bluetooth, I saw my old airpods name but the airpods wasn’t with me anymore.

You may be probably using the same Apple ID that you used on the old iPhone.
What you’re seeing is just a remembered pairing. Even if the AirPods aren’t nearby or even in your possession anymore, your iPhone retains the name in its Bluetooth memory because of iCloud syncing.
