iPhone 14 keeps restarting and draining battery rapidly

I have an iphone 14 and it has been all good up until a day ago. It has started to randomly power off, once i have turned it on almost all my battery is gone. it always is at 10% however i am charging it. After it has turned off and on a few times the battery returns to normal. then it is okay for about half an hour and then the process repeats itself. i have looked up it up online but havent found anything. What do I do? i dont want to have to clear my phone. one frequent answer i found was the phone is overheating so i put it in the fridge or could it be some off my apps? how can i check. i have also checked my overall battery life and it is at 87%. my phone is fully up to date aswell. please help me fix this it is so fustrating and i have no idea what to do!

While 87% is not below the threshold that Apple provides for replacing batteries, it would seem that you are experiencing charging issues as well. I would recommend that you make a Genius Bar appointment and have the device checked, or you can also use the Support app and Apple can do remote diagnostics on the device to check the battery. See the information below.

Best Way

Install the Apple Support app on your iPhone or iPad - you can contact support directly from the app, and the tech will have (with your permission) access to diagnostic data on your phone
