Difficulty in organising App Library on iPhone

I struggled with organizing the App Library for a long time until I finally figured it out. Get your iPhone EXACTLY the way you want it other than the terribly organized App Library. Go to iCloud in settings and backup your iPhone. Now reset the IPhone back to factory, keeping your eSIMs, etc. When you initialize the iPhone, select the backup you just performed and include the apps. This is key. Now just wait it out. Let everything download. When it’s done, everything in the App Library is organized as best as it can be depending on the app developer’s categorization. That’s it. Enjoy!

I wouldn’t go that much of a hassle just to reindex the App Library. The App Library in the first place is not meant to customizable or sorted by users, it is automatically done so by the algorithms. It can reindex when you download new apps or use certain apps the most.

As stated by Carol, if you want to customize your apps, that would be for the Home Screen.

I understand that’s how it’s supposed to work, but then I also know that I had almost a hundred apps in the Other category. The steps I describe above were the only remedy to that mess. Including calling Apple Support. It works if you need it.

Or you can simply move the apps where you want them.
