I am not able to use my lightning camera adapter with my iPad 6th gen running 17.6.1 My old, large, Ipad Pro 1st (16.7.8) and Lightning camera adapter, works fine with my Ipad/PC dual audio/midi interface music setup. Only took me a couple days to figure it all out, lol. Then, I thought I would simply switch the Lightning camera adapter over to my unused, smaller Ipad 6th. It auto updated to the current 17.6.1 ios. I just learned that the update killed the Lightning camera adapter, and makes my smaller ipad useless for my audio/midi interfaces. And I can't go back to ver. 16. Why did Apple mess it up? Is there going to be a fix? Sigh, Old and frustrated. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

To the best of my knowledge, the Apple USB-C to Lightning Adapter does not have updatable firmware.

Where in iPad settings do you anticipate finding the Adapter's current firmware version?

Do you have a particular problem with connecting Apple Lightning accessories to your iPad's USB-C port?
