How can I manage widgets in the shortcuts folder?

Hello, in Today View I manage multiple Widgets.

However, I'm trying to sort the multiple Widgets and their respective Shortcut folders.

iPhone 11 iOS 18.1.1 -> unlock phone -> Today View -> long press space -> select Edit -> select Add Widget -> scroll down to Shortcuts -> swipe left to Shortcuts Folder with 2, swipe left to Shortcuts Folder with 4, swipe left to Shortcuts Folder with 8 -> select Add Widget.

Now having 8 shortcuts in 1 widget, how can I sort the shortcuts?

I navigate to the Shortcuts app -> sort Shortcuts, however this doesn't allow me to have a widget of 8 shortcuts with only the 5 shortcuts I need. Then a 2nd widget of 8 with another category of 5 shortcuts I need.

I have created Shortcut folders in the Shortcuts app, however the different categories are mixed up in the widgets of 8 shortcuts.

Additionally, folders from proprietary companies with their own made shortcuts don't offer renaming, just options: Add to Home Screen or New Shortcut.

Customised shortcuts I create for the proprietary company also won't Move into that proprietary company's folder, so I have an unnecessary folder with 3 shortcuts for the proprietary company, making Widgets with the proprietary company's and my customised shortcuts for the company in 2 separate folders.

iPhone 11, iOS 18

You may have to duplicate shortcuts that need to be put in different categories of widgets and then put your groups of shortcuts in different folders ready for display in a widget.

E.g.. put just 5 shortcuts in a Shortcuts folder, create an 8-shortcut widget and Edit that widget (via Touch & Hold) to point to the 5-shortcut folder.

Sorting shortcuts in a widget is done via Shortcuts app > Open folder > drag shortcuts into order.

...If the above misunderstands the problem, post back with illustrative screenshots.
