Requesting refund for unusable ChatGPT Plus subscription via Apple Account
I recently subscribed to a Plus paid account via the ChatGPT app on App Store using my Apple ID. However, after completing the subscription process, I was informed that I needed to use an associated account to access the service. Unfortunately, my associated account is currently unavailable.
I have several questions and concerns regarding this issue:
1. Why am't I able to directly use the Plus subscription account linked to my Apple ID? What is the purpose of logging in with an Apple account if it does not grant direct access to the subscribed service?
2. The unavailability of the associated account renders the subscription ineffective, which seems highly unreasonable. During both the payment and confirmation processes, there was no clear indication or warning provided about the necessity of account association. This lack of transparency has led to a situation where the subscription appears to be a wasted expense.
Based on the above issues, I would like to make the following requests:
1. A refund for the subscription fees paid for the Plus account, given that the associated account is currently unavailable and unusable.
