What key do I use to 'enter' in InDesign on my MacBook Pro?

the full apple keyboard for my Imac has both a return key and an enter key. when working with inDesign for example, to enter text in the textbook I hit "enter" to go to the next line in the textbox vs hitting "return" which takes me to a new textbox. Since my macbook doesn't have a enter key, which key do I use on my macbook for the "enter" functionality? If enter and return performed in the same manner, I don't think the full apple keyboard would need to differentiate the two keys.
