Battery life draining quickly on a recently purchased iPad 10th gen

i just brought a ipad gen 10 recently and i feel that the battery life has been draining a bit too quickly. i have the brightness towards the middle and has been on freenotes for a hour, the battery went from 91 to 80. is this normal?

Different Apps and processes have different CPU/GPU demands when running - and battery utilisation will reflect this.


With moderate screen brightness (~30-40%) you might typically anticipate seeing 8-15% battery depletion for each hour of active use. Overnight, when idle (but running normal background tasks), you might reasonably expect to observe 10% battery use. As such, your iPad appears to be using its battery as expected.
