Okay so the cap of the right ear broke a while ago (i accidentally stepped on it) but i reattached it with tape and it was working fine but today i lost track of them for a second and a kid got hold of them. now the wires look attached just fine but the audio is gone, the mic is on this side snd thats working fine. can it be repaired in any way?

Apple AirPods are sealed units that are not designed to be repaired or serviced. While you might consider making enquiries at the Genius Bar of an Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider, I suspect that you will be advised to purchase a replacement.
Wired AirPods (or third party earbuds) are generally too cheap to consider a cost-effective repair.
such thin wires can be fractured many places under the plastic I would advice you get a replacement of that right pod
