Please give specific examples.
Also tell us exactly what you have on the list at system settings / keyboard / text input / edit / all input sources
If you have items on that list other than US (or whatever your normal language is), use the minus button at the bottom to remove them

No. But if you have more than one input source on the list, it is easy to get accidentally switched to the wrong one.
