“You have not verified your account” error when updating app on my iPhone App Store

I am about to throw this flipping iphone through a flipping window. I can’t access my finances app because it’s asking me to update the app to the latest update. I go to the app to update the finances app, right? Then it starts asking me to verify my account (which idk why it shows my “gmail” address instead of icloud bc I got icloud registered). The app asks me to go to settings in order to do the verification, I go to settings, right? and nothing happens because I don’t see anything related, but some posts say to try and update the payment ID or sum like that, but oh surprise, for some reason it doesn’t allow me to access the payment and shipping tab, in fact I can’t do it here, so now I gotta throw this iphone to the window, right?
