Need to replace my aging Apple USB Super Drive to burn CDs to my 2017 iMac
Worked perfectly until recently ... now it takes seemingly forever and makes a grinding noise while working. It works, but no idea for how much longer.

I ordered the:
Aumdie External CD/DVD Drive for Laptop, USB 3.0 CD Burner with 2 USB Ports and 2 TF/SD Card Slots, DVD Player for Laptop, Mac, PC, Windows 11/10/8.1/7
From Amazon, $29.00. Works ok, a little slower than the Apple, but not much, have used it several times now with no problems.

However, that still leave you with two options:
Many thanks for the quick reply ... I was hesitant to order one via Ebay, so got a different brand via Amazon.
You're very welcome!
What other brands are a good fit for the Mac?
