IPad Air Magic Keyboard trackpad not working fresh out of the box.

I just finished setting up my new Ipad Air, and got a Magic Keyboard to go with it, but, after syncing my Keyboard with my Ipad, only the keyboard seems to function. If I try to use the trackpad, it doesn't work, and tells me the accessory isn't supported by my Ipad. What do I do?

Runelk BT keyboard trackpad not working on iPad I bought a runelk BT keyboard for my ipad from amazon. No issue whil connecting, and the keys work perfectly fine. However, there's a huge problem with the trackpad. It just does not work, and there's no any sign of cursor. But, when I turn on assistive touch and enable virtual trackpad, the hardware trackpad completely works. Since, turning the virutal trackpad on shows up the cursor, it is annoying to use the screen while there is the virtual trackpad interface on the screen itself. I am 99% sure that this is a software bug. If there's any help that I could get to use my runelk BT keyboard's trackpad, it'd be of great help. Thanks!!

Ipad magic keyboard keys not working Ive got an 3rd gen ipad pro 11in and the compatible magic keyboard. This one connects via the back pins and i am able to charge the device thru the magic keyboard and use the trackpad but the keys dont work (the actual keyboard). I’ve tried the simple fixes already, turn off mouse keys, reset my ipad, get new iOS but nothing seems to work, Thanks for any help

Why is my Magic Keyboard touchpad cursor not showing up on my screen Every time i try to use my Magic Keyboard touchpad on my iPad Pro the cursor doesn’t show on the screen i tried to reset my iPad and keep reconnecting my keyboard but its not working.

Have you tried rebooting the iPad with the Magic Keyboard connected? Check the connector pins and make sure that it is not obstructed with lint or something. Just in case, check out iPad Keyboards - Apple

to make sure that both are compatible. :)
