the location showed earlier today but now it says “no location found” on both the “find my” and imessage app. why did it all of a sudden change? they’re still on my list of people with location shared with me.

When the person's device does not have internet connection for quite awhile, Find My won't be able to locate it and will display the No Location Found message.
If their device has internet connection, they may need to re-share their location with you to do a refresh.
Perhaps they turned their location off for a while. Or, they were somewhere that it was blocked.
it’s just odd to me because i know they’ve been online and have a connection. oh well.. i’ll see if they can fix it next time we see each other. thank you!
hours later, the app decided to work and i can once again see my friend’s location. thank you for your reply tho!
